Hi everyone I am Kalyan Chakravarthy the author on this blog, a 20yr old guy India currently finishing up my Bachelors in computer science and about to enter the rat-race of the world.

I was born on 2nd April. Lived in many places, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Orissa, Tirupati, Vellore, (all in India) to name a few, and currently at Bangalore. I speak Telugu, Hindi, English

Am a over thinker, philosopher, at my core an ardent believer in simplicity, destiny & Chaos theory. I believe there are always two or more perspectives to anything and everything, all of which are right in their own way.

Programming is something which came out of bare necessity when i was 13 to pass my 9th grade, where i had C basics. Call it luck or destiny, at that very point of helplessness i found 2 books on C & C++ lying in my home, since then never looked back. Over next 1 year self-taught myself C++, Graphics. Being into art, drawing & painting since childhood pushed my interests into Web & Graphic Design as well. Wrote my first graphics game in at 15. Did my first freelance designing & development gig at 17 !

Over years I have programmed in PHP, Java, Python, Perl, TT2, Javascript, SQL, a tiny bit of C#. Worked on commercial Fedex, PayPal, Authorize.net gateways; Twitter, Flickr, social media API’s; Web services; SDL, OpenGL, PyGame, Processing Graphics & Visualization utilities, tools & libraries. Designed, developed & deployed large web applications.

Along with programming i have a diverse variety of interests including majorly Photography, Philosophy, Poetry and also in cooking, doodling, juggling & music.

This blog used to have a focus restricted to just web, but now it is focussed on Programming, Photography, Projects, what i do and sensible stuff that fascinates me !
