NanoCMS Domain Problems

  August 11th, 2009 | In NanoCMS | 12 Comments »

There NanoCMS site (nanocms.in) is not accessible right now due to some domain host problem, apparently they managed to not to give me a single warning email before expiration. I have been their customer for 3 years, and have always paid my dues. Now they won’t even let me login.

NanoCMS project is active and will be continue to be maintained. I am in process of getting this issue resolved in person. Please bear with me. I regret the inconvenience.

As a side effect some sites running on v0.4 might be facing login problems due to the update script that is running. You might have to disable it by manually editing data\nanoadmin.php and comment out the line ~49

registerTweak('admin-head-content','show_nano_updates');

by adding two slashes in front of it

//registerTweak('admin-head-content','show_nano_updates');

Please inform everyone who you know about the issue who are using NanoCMS.

Thanks a lot for your support. ~Kalyan

    Your NanoCMS inspired me to work on my own small footprint software project. Thanks for sharing with everyone and good luck sorting out your domain problem.

    I think you should disable the update script as it will be annoying people when the similar problem happens again in the future.

    Hey, good luck getting the domain back up. If you end up having to switch hosts, you should mention the name of your current one here so people know not to use it :) .

    PS: sent you an email.

    While your domain is down is there another link where I can get a copy of the current version of NanoCMS? Thanks!

    Is there any chance of this being resolved any time soon? If you don’t hurry, somebody else might buy up the domain and then it would be lost.
